I have always had a passion for design and creating.
After studying Product Design to A level standard I knew that I wanted to follow a career path that would enable me to work with my hands yet still be creative. In addition, during my A Level Business Studies I realised that I wanted to run my own business.
Since leaving school I have trained as an upholsterer and had in-depth training working on an extensive range of both antique and modern furniture, using a wide range of fabrics. I have also undertaken specialist restoration courses. This has equipped me with the skills to repair antique chairs as well as being able to offer a French Polishing service when required.
All upholstery work is carried out by me personally and I pride myself on a high level of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
My workshop is in Radwinter, near Saffron Walden.
